Feb.15,2010Project Makeover is a university-wide effort to beautify a local school from the inside out in a single weekend.
This year, UF is calling for all volunteers to take part in the rewarding weekend project on Saturday, February 27th. Volunteers from all organizations will pick up paint brushes and shovels and turn a regular school into a child’s coloring book. Students can expect to:
* Paint murals and educational pictures on classroom walls
* Revitalize the school’s exterior with trees, plants and mulch pathways
* Revamp the students’ playground and equipment
FLP will be participating with the Leadership Institute Development of the Black Student Union on SATURDAY, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. More updates will come as the project date approaches.
